Gathered from the many years of experience of the Gusella Shipping Agency S.a.s. and from the knowledge of the economy that governs the Port and City of Venice, in the early 1990’s an additional service was developed dedicated to yachts and pleasure boats: the program “Live Venice from your Yacht.
The program encompasses the complete range of administrative formalities and customs requirements of the Port Authority to allow docking in Venice and includes accessory services aimed at making the stay of captains and their guests in Venice as pleasant as possible.

These services include:

• provisioning
• laundering
• private taxis for all destinations
• jet & helicopter hire
• medical assistance
• air and rail tickets

During the preparation for the challenge of the Twenty-eighth Edition of the America’s Cup (1989) Gusella Shipping Agency S.a.s. was awarded by the organizing group the honor of being named the exclusive agent for the logistics connected with the launching of the MORO DI VENEZIA and its transfer from the operative base in the Port of Marghera to Palma di Majorca and again to San Diego (USA) and ultimately coordinating its return.
During the same period, in addition to these services, the
Gusella Shipping Agency S.a.s. was entrusted with the handling of the private yachts of the Gardini and Ferruzzi families.
